William Petersen will be making a shortlived comeback to the original CSI series, in which he starred as Forensic Detective Gil Grissom for 9 years. Currently Laurence Fishburne has taken his place, but William and the producers figured it’d be great to have Gil return for a little while.
What exactly Gil is going to be doing on CSI was not mentioned at the international mediafestival (MipTV) in Cannes, perhaps we’ll see him on the other side of the law for once.
